Coming this summer

Local chain Farm Burger and Athens-based Your Pie are expanding with new locations at 275 Memorial Drive. Both will take up residence on the ground floor of The George, a mixed-use development rising on the Grant Park property that previously was home to Azar’s Liquor Store.

“Farm Burger was born in Atlanta, and we’re looking forward to joining such an exciting development between two of the city’s most beloved neighborhoods: Grant Park and Old Fourth Ward,” Farm Burger cofounder George Frangos said in a prepared statement. “We’ll be bringing our grass-fed burgers, market salads with produce from local farms, Morelli's ice cream milkshakes, local craft beer, and more for our new community of families and visitors to enjoy.”

“We love the Grant Park area and are excited to serve residents here,” Lisa Maclellan, co-owner of the new Your Pie outpost, said. “We look forward to being a neighborhood spot with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with amazing pizza and delicious craft beer.”

Farm Burger’s space will cover roughly 1,800 square feet, and Your Pie is a bit larger at 2,200 square feet. The latter will offer al fresco dining on a covered patio. Urban Realty Partners, the firm behind the project, expects both restaurants to open this summer.
